We create the images related to our memories in order to stimulate to provoke a feeling for the place.
Atelier focuses on understanding the image of the village, their typical atmosphere,
and their life. Then, the work develops from images from the imagination of the emotions that you could feel on the place.
That's because we think, architecture is about creating a present image that continues from the memories.

Perfect rhythm of simple form, suitable furniture, lighting with neutral or bright tones and texture of materials through hand and know-how of architect creates a unique atmosphere in a new place where the surroundings and my life are in perfect harmony.

As an architect in Switzerland and a public architect in Seoul, he begins his work by creating an atmosphere. His architecture reflects authenticity and diversity so that you can experience functional and elegant space in daily life. That's why he try to create an emotional and stylish rhythm of life with distinctive atmosphere for a long term.
He studied architecture at Hongik University and gained work experience architects office in Korea and Switzerland. He also studied at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich(ETHz) and received a master's degree at the USI (Università della Svizzera italiana) Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio. Then he was awarded a diplom by Quintus Miller in 2015, Switzerland. He founded Atelier Nam in 2015, and since then he has been working on various projects. He lectured at Korea University and Namseoul University and is currently an adjunct professor at Hongik University.
