Atelier focuses on understanding the image of the village, their typical atmosphere, and their life. Then, the work develops from images from the imagination of the emotions that you could feel on the place.
That's because we think, architecture is about creating a present image that continues from the memories.

After Studying at Hongik University, Korea, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology_ETH Zürich, Jiwon Nam completed his master's degree in architecture and confermented the diplom under professor Quintus Miller at the Accademia di architettura_USI Mendrisio, Switzerland. He returned to Korea in 2015 and established the architectural atelier in Seoul. His works cover a wide range of various architectural tasks and constructive solutions. And he taught Korea University and Nam_Seoul National University and has taught as a professor at Hongik University since 2017.

홍익대학교 겸임교수 | 서울시 마을건축가
그는 홍익대학교와 한국에서 건축실무 후 스위스 연방공대 취리히와 스위스 USI에서 학사, 석사과정을 수료하고 퀸투스 밀러교수에게 석사학위Master of Science와 디플롬Diplom을 수여받은, 스위스 연방의 건축사입니다.
2015년 귀국 후 남지원건축연구소를 개설하여 지금까지 이어오고 있으며 그의 사무소에서는 대부분의 건축설계와 연관된 업무, 도시에 대한 고민을 함께 하고 있습니다. 또한 고려대학교와 남서울대학교에서 외래교수로 활동하였으며, 2017년부터 홍익대학교에서 겸임교수로 재직하며, 사무소를 함께 운영하고 있습니다. 또한 서울시의 마을 건축을 위한 자문과 지역의 발전을 위해 서울시에서 마을건축가로 임명되어 활동중 입니다.
